Chronology of Events
Making its humble presence felt in the year 2018, SEVA progressed with initiation of voluntary teaching in village schools, organising camps for awareness programmes and counselling to persons aspiring for professional courses.
Training of contractual employees of Bhilai Steel Plant started with support and guidelines from CSVTU and IISSC.
Promotion of GEDI ball as a new invention sport, integrating traditional GEDI and football and efforts to promote the same to secure pan-India status.
Training programmes started for the local industrial establishment – SISCOL
Class Room Training
Training with audio-visual aids conducted at Human Resourves Development Centre(HRDC), BSP,, Bhilai as per requirement from the concerned departments
Four sessions each lasting for 4 hours followed by site visit, viva and test – qualifying factors for certification of RPL training (Recognition of Prior Learning)
Promotion of local sports
The traditional Chhattisgadi game Gedi has been modified to accomodate the nuances of foot ball to culminate in a new form of sport-GEDI BALL.
